I'm looking for help again, if anyone can help/interested post in here.

I havent been able to execute large downloaded files. (EX exe, zip, rar)

This means all large compressed or executable files, videos are fine.

Not too long ago I had this problem, I changed my Page filing and it worked fine. Now when I edit my page filing (for ram obviously) I still am getting bad exe's and zips and such.

Now I KNOW these files work because I have transferred them over to different computers at my house.

I have conducted a memory test using MemTest 3.4 I'm recieving multiple errors in my ram testings, (At least over a thousand)

It reads: Memory Error detected copying between word pairs # (RANDOM NUMBER) and # (RANDOM NUMBER)

This happened before when I did a memtest aswell, when I messed with the page filing it worked perfectly.

So what is happening is my ram bad or is something setup wrong? Why do games run perfectly if my ram is bad? How come this problem happened before and I fixed it, but now the same solution does not work?

Any help?

first of all what is your ram setup look like? 1 stick of ram? 2 sticks? if 2 sticks are they the same brand size and speed?

i had a vid card go bad the mem on it, sometimes it worked fine, sometimes it looked like the matrix was flooding over my screen...

theirs a good GOOD ram test you can do i'll see if i can find it. Takes like 5-6H to do it says let it run over night... it fully tests the memory...

now are you sure this .exe is really a .exe?

MSN blocks exe so i change exe to .pass or something...

Ive seen music cd's called MP3 and really its a RAR and you need to change the file extension... just a idea... sounds like its wrong if they worked on other computers but... different set up perhaps...

lol stop editing stuff! i run computers with WRONG memory in them and they work fine... or 3 brands/sizes lol and no problems... so from exp id say thats not the prob...

can you test 1 stick at a time?

do you have extra memory anywhere you can try to use and recreate the same problem?
