It shouldn't, I have 2 monitors right next to each other, not even 2 inches apart. One of them is a Samsung 19" Flat Panel CRT,and the other is a regualr 17" CRT. Had them like this for a while now and they don't seem to be acting weird or anything. I am however looking to upgrade to at least a 17" LCD. (drooools)

actually they are referring to multiple monitors not computers. Though I find multiple computers is a better option.

You can run two monitors on one box side by side no problem. We do it at work, so do I at home.

when you first turn a monitor on that is next to another monitor it will cuase the other monitor to flicker. Lots of EMI going out of a monitor on start up

Yeah Matt5, you should be able to monitors side-by-side no problem. Maybe there's something else messing 'em up? Do you have speakers around them? Maybe a magnet?
