alright - so only about 5 more weeks of "Map of the Week" to go. I'd like to do this again for the fall, because I think its fun to try new maps and give our loyal members a bit of control for a week.

What I want to do is - finish out this next few weeks with the maps of the week, and then have one week where we have ALL of the previous maps of the week up (and a few popular ones to add up to 32), so each map has one more time to perhaps become part of a regular crop of maps on the server. There are been some cool maps that people have picked.

In the meantime, the current crop of 32 maps will need to be thinned out for a new set of maps that will debut in September. Rather than vote on maps to stay or go here on the forums, I'm just going to go with the raw data -- we already have voting data, the maps that no one ever plays or votes to play will be dropped (haven't decided on a final number yet). Then we will add a bunch of new or returning maps that will go for the duration of another round of "map of the week" to be played through the end of the year.

Sound good? Good. Lets do it then!

maybe we can see some of the eastern front maps. due to lack of amounts of time I can't find any for you but I think there are a few look up like stalingrad or something of the like. those have my intrigue right now.


on a positive note I have 3.5 ore weeks of camp left then I can come in late on Fridays and rage on you guys again.

Stalingrad is a fun map, but its large and some people violently hate that map for some reason. But I'd love to see it back on.

Staligrad is fun... It's nice to snipe from the top of that huge tower.

And yes Beck i like that idea since the way your thinking of doing it will allow for more maps to drop from our list than before but who knows id love to see 1 sniper map there even if it doesnt get voted on much... Need more ping pings! (anyone who didnt make the ding noise in there head for a headshot is lame and silly for not getting the reference) XP

It could be, its pretty small so it would be good for our server. I ran around on it a bit and found OBJ and stuff. Might get a bit lost in the house the first few times, but I think we'll give it a go!

I played that one on F|A I think, it's not too bad but apparently it's very laggy on small configs

With my low settings, A LOT of textures are missing &/or obscured.
