Alright,
New Comp. Download ET, works fine with standard patch. Then try to DL 2.60b for PRO and I get this message.
NET_SendPacket: WSAEADDRNOTAVAIL
And above that it says "Could not resolve Address."
Which I assume is the IP addy.
It acts as though I'm not connected to the internet.
HELP please.
(side note: I do run Firefox if that matters at all)

ok, im no tech or even know computers at all but i took a look at it. Everytime he boots up et, he has to re run that patch (2.60b) to even get on a server. When he does that and tries to hop on a pro server, he gets incorrect et.exe problem. Before you start saying BLAHH I POSTED THIS TWENTY TIMES ALREADY!! we did what it said and i even copied my files to his folder and they won't work for him. I think he needs the newer etpro patch but i dont know where to find it... please help.

Is the installation in the default location? Make sure that et.exe has been replaced with the version from this file:
http://www.iowclan.com/game/ET-2.60b-win32.zip
That's the newest patch that I know about.
Can you play Pub?

Yes I can play Pub and I already replaced that file with the existing one.
As far as me and Karni have gone, we believe to have done everything correctly.
So I don't know what to do.

Ok, he saves it into the folder and unzips it and says two files have been unzipped successfully and nothing pops up...
I'm gonna have my dad get him into the network and fix the first problem then wotk with the exe.. i'll post again tonight.

If you're unzipping to the right folder, it should prompt you to overwrite the files. If you're not getting this, perhaps you're not extracting to the right directory?

Yea, it does prompt for that every time....
I'm gonna have to have my dad do that router thing that Nort suggested.
