@pub
That happened with Anabolis too. I don't see any problems with your usage, and you're smart enough to properly form the tag combination. I've seen it do weird things with images on here often. Try inserting another URL into those tags just to see if that one works.

You did it right. Somehow the forum isn't recognizing the tags, and just printing it as ascii. Wierd. I tried Pete's method, but that didn't work. This has happened many times as Beck knows. This forum doesn't know how to handle signatures.

Yo, beck. Can I ask a favor? Can you increase the numbe of characters allowed in my sig? Or anyway you can mess around with it.

I want the last.fm thing and this:
Code: › [url=http://ubanimator.com][img]http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/2610/userbar280907hw7.gif[/img][/url]

Much appreciated!

There's two problems with sigs. First, it's limited to 255 characters (the database tables are structured that way), but worse then that, it converts your tags into numbers, so img becomes like img23244353 when it's stored, so that takes away from your count. So even if ensure you have exactly 255 chars, it will still clip it when it stores it in the database because of that.

The only thing I could do is increase the size of the field in the database, which I've been tempted to do myself, but I'm a bit weary of screwing up the forum DB.

You might just take off the silly [url] tags that bound your userbar image, that will help. And it pisses me off that it doesn't display pics sometimes, it makes no sense to me as to why it fails for you dday.

@PUB: Sweet bar man! Cool

forgot about the url tags. Got rid of them, but it looks I have the dday problem Sad I bet it's an issue of the database not assigning it the numbers

I'll answer you anyway, cause I'm surprised it took this long for someone to ask.

Nort asked me to create an image for Beta members, so I made this sort of patch like thing (assuming this is a real army, they'd wear it on their uni or something). In order to get it to show, I had to create duplicate ranks in the forum database, so the (b) is the alternate name. But you already figured that out Smile

@WHORE: Sweet bar man! Nice to see them showing up here.

@PUB: Man, that sucks, I don't know why that shit isn't showing up. Sorry man....Just for grins, take our your last.fm list and see if it shows up....I have both, obviously...(I forum hax though)

@pub
go to "your account" and then "change info". Then delete that sig and "save changes"..
Then go to "navigation", "profile". Press "edit signature" and put that code there.. And press save.. that worked for me..

Do you mean graphically? I used Adobe Photoshop and a tutorial on how to make a userbar (specific size, fonts and a sort of implied design).

The animation I did with a site that specializes in creating the animated userbars. I had 10 of them (actually, like 25 or more that I'd like to use) and it will create one animated .gif image with all your bars in it.

Then to put it in the sig, I did it just like you have yours.

Does that answer your question?
