i like to plant mines where the foot bridge will be constructed. When people build the foot bridge they think no one knows and rush ahead but my mines ar always there to stop them. Twisted Evil

2.) Smoke on a planted dyno in the fuel dump almost always ensures destruction!

i would sayt abot a 75% chance it will blow if 1 dyno with smoke. If its 2 then you have about 90% unless you have no offence. With 3 im sure its 99% with smoke its gonna blow. Anything more is going to be 100%. You never know thier enitre team might have full engi and undo them but they are all chained if planted within 10secs of the first one.

i personally dislike smoke on dynos.........because so many times i have jumped into a smoked dyno and disarmed because allies didn't see me enter the smoke......

and if you are unseen entering the smoked area it's so easy to find the dyno, by just holding down attack with your plyiers out.

I don't jump the fence. I run up the hill on the CP side doing the TJ to gain speed on ice.

in 3v3 i think its rly important to stick together in 3's letting the medics go last, and camping the dyno like all get out. sometimes though, its better to let one rambo go one way while the other 2 go for obj. medics always go last, and do not watch ur teammates get gibbed.

personally, i've only played in a 6v6 once and that was VS iow when i was rmc. we got rolled. although, from watching demo's i noticed that many of the pro teams split into teams of 2-2-2 or 3-3 and usually use a wide variety of classes ie. fldops + panz for mass spawn killing, medics + engies to focus on obj, and covies to destroy some objectives.

just imo. not too much scrim experience for me, but with iow, i know that i can always have buddies to scrim with :>

on a map like dump its best not to spread out too far because the defense is crammed so tight. a covie is probably not as useful as another medic, especially since there are only 2 entrance points, and the hot spots are all elevated, so satchels are voided. unless you find that you can get straight to the defenses easily to satchel them AND you can outgun the opposition to keep a uni alive, a medic should be used in favor of the covie.

and no mines in 3v3 :] just fyi.

I'm not really sure if Beck made some of these strats for Pub or for TWL, but TWL has a map script for Fuel Dump. Kinda cuts the map in half, and changes a few things, and voiding some of the strat.

Well in pub....a engi by himself can get over the wall and the fence and blow the thing up assuming that they built both sides
