Help wit format

Ya with all the comp probs i said screw it lets format... and start clean...
except i cant... I boot using my XP cd...
go to install...
and i get a stop error
REGISTRY_ERROR mind you this is while tryin to set up a new xp from the cd...

how the hell do i go about formating this comp? Im allmost ready to use boot and nuke...

win 98 se boot disk. then just fdisk your partion, recreate it, and reformat it

no u make ur ntfs partition once u start installin windows, u ca convert everything to ntfs using quick format

or once u install ur windows and it turns out ur still runnin a fat32, there is a command u can run in the command prompt that converts ur fat32 to ntfs even while windows is up and runnin around, just search google for fat32 convert to ntfs, or sometin like that, u shud find it in a microsoft webpage

i ment will it find them like windows ME boot disk does not find the hard drive because its NTFS

Windows 98 SE OEM is what i used tryin the one with no ram drive right now...
