'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even my game mouse;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that gaming gear soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of air strikes danced in their heads;

While mom in her helmet and I in my flack jacket,
Had just settled down for a long campaign tactic,

When out on the lawn there arose ET clatter,
OMG!, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew in l33t flash,
Tore open the shutters and spec'd the battlefield grass.

My config tweaks to the game with map of new-fallen snow
Gave a lustre to the gamers that appeared just below,

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature tank, and eight Allies in battle gear;

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be Sum1 with a new CVAR trick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and text spammed, and called them by name;

"Now, Liquid! now, Tauk! now, Bearcat and Sux!
On, Totes! on Allagor! on BangBang and Nort!

To the top of the spawn! to the top of the wall!
Now shoot them! And 'nade them! And needle them all!"

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they’d meet an Axis player, they'd panzer the guy,

So up to the objective the IOW team flew,
With med packs and bullets, and Sakura and Winnie in tow with V2.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing of Spawn Campers aloof.

I joined the gaming, and was turning around,
When down the chimney Sum1 came with a bound.

He was dressed in med battle gear, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished from revives in arty soot;

A bundle of objectives he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a whirlwind deploying med packs.

His eyes -- how they twinkled! Adren he must carry!
I smiled when I saw him, but then became frightened and wary;

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And killed all around me, then gave a big smirk;

They'd been pwned by Sum1, those spawn camping n00bs,
He'd killed them and gibbed them and then posted it to YouTube;

And laying his finger aside of his nose,
The IOW team set forth as new battles arose.

He said, “IOW, let's roll! We've gaming to win!”
Away they all flew like ping happy men.

But I heard him exclaim, ere he flew out of sight,

"Happy ET to all, and to all a good gaming night."
