For the record. I hate setting up a new OS, it is why i hesitated. Have to reinstall everything. ARGHHHH.

Well so you don't dread it as much next time, when you're done setting it up, make an image of it.

My biggest problem was i had a striped and spanned volumes set up in dynamic disk under windows xp. When i moved to windows 7 it didnt like that and said my two dynamic drivers were invalid.
I ended up having to back up my music and some other files as well as just wiped out my 300 gigs of movies and my installed xp games. Was going to take about 3-4 hours to copy the movies from one disk to another and back again. I didnt want to wait for that as i wanted that disk space so i could install games, etc.. (I keep my music, movies, and game installes on seperate drives from my OS)
