ERROR ERROR!!! CaNNOT JOIN IOW SERVERS!!!

Ight it all started yesterday, my friend came over and started playing. I changed his name (because he sucked) and it kicked him for name to short. So I reconnected and same thing. So i restarted the computer and then now I cant join because "server disconnected for unknown reason"

ARGH MATEY I want to play, but I dont want to play in a noob server...

k...to fix the name, open up console b4 u join the server...wen in console type /set name (new name). That should fix ur problem...u can add colors in the console too, remember...u can't fully delete ur name while in the game cause u'll be kicked for too short of a name Smile

this happens alot when someone adds an extra space to the /name command :

Code: › /name Krayz

instead of

Code: › /name Krayz

At what point does the server disconnected message appear? Make sure you're typing the right IP address.

At what point does the server disconnected message appear? Make sure you're typing the right IP address.

If it is the wrong IP it will hang in awaiting connection forever, it won't give a server disconected notice

Also if he gets kicked before the map fully loads (with his 0 letter name) it will give that message.

I speak from experience, unfortunately, as this happened to me once.

uh my name is 32 letters long... I changed it to a wicked long name then it kicked me via to short of a name. So thats not it >.> WTF MAN!!!

Instead of trying to set your name via the console, before even connecting to a server, check your profile and make sure it's not blank.
