hi everyone im having major problems with ET. the game loads up no problem but when i get about 30 secs in the game just crashes to desktop ive reinstalled et plus the patches and still the same problem persists dont realy want to reformat my windows xp tryed google ect but nobody seems to know how to resolve,which is a bummer as i havent been able to play for over a month? thanks 4 any help

Does it give you any errormessage? I had the prob too. and the errormessage was something with kernel32.dll. after some restarts and pb updates it worked sometimes and then a long time not so i reinstalled et and since then it works. just my cfg dont work anymore. and new ones dont work too. but yeah. i can play et

everyone has seemed to have that problem at one point or the other. for the cases ive heard, it seems to fix itself...honestly.

I had this problem, and a Windows XP system restore back to a point where I knew it worked fixed my problem. It's quick and simple, and you only lose whatever changes you've made to your system since, but it's better then a reinstall of the OS. GL.

A lil off topic:
System restore is a fucking lifesaver.I was on MySpace yesterday night and got a friend request.So I saw the pic and was curious to see who it was requesting me.So I click on the profile and i'm automatically beoing invaded by a fukin virus!!!! Now if the pic was aof a hot chick in a thing I wouldnt have opened it since I know its a fuckin bot/possible virus.But it was a reg pic of a reg looking girl.So JJ comes over and does some things to try to get them out my comp.Last resort was a system restore and it seemed to do the trick.SO YAY!!! No reformat for me. Word to the wise,for the peeps on MySpace,dont click on any friend requests u dont know.
