Looks good tAukima. That opening scene, the panzer kill, I'm pretty sure I saw halfbaked pull that off once.

So, is it just basically differently textured other than a few box placement differences? What's the benefit of this over the current version we run? I'm just questioning adding another map people have to download, though maps aren't that big. Also, why are mod developers doing things with maps, unless they have something special to show off a piece of that mod?

Different lighting, object placement and textures, something new for us to experience. So we can compare this to the original and see if we like it more than the original.

Is it just me or do you sound slightly condescending? ET doesn't get monthly updates so why do you even care in the first place? The devs went out of their way to make something fun for us to experience, I'm grateful we're even getting anything new related to this game to begin with.
I posted this because im generally excited that the legacy team is even doing things like this, I didn't even know they made maps. I don't expect this map to be put on, was just something I wanted to throw out there for options

I'd say put it on the server and let's test it out! It looks pretty smooth and a much more updated Frostbite that we love to play on the server.

It's an interesting change of pace. Removed some of my favorite mortar spots. But adds new spots at the same time. If we keep it in the map pool to swap out with normal frost occasionally, v4 is needed. Has some important fixes.

Okay, I'll pull v4 down and put that into the pool for change of pace. I actually like the new version, it looks nice and has some cool features like additional ammo/health by axis spawn.

I also prefer the older frostbite, albeit for an incredibly petty reason. The rails are not flat and i can't jump on them. The current version of the new frostbite has a problem with it that is game-breaking and from what I understand, the v4 fix that. I'm in favor of switching back and forth between the different frostbites from time to time, as we do with other maps such as adler.
