ok everyone I officially have a job because of that i want to start looking into buying a headset and gaming mouse. I have no idea what is out there headset or mouse wise. So i am asking for your help any opinion or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. The more the better. If im going to be buying it i want to make it worth while cause it will take over a few months to save for anything. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you give me Smile

Me and venom have the same headset. The plantronics 780 is probably the best budget headset you can buy right now.

I also have the same mouse as him. Its a great mouse, my only gripe is that the bottom cover that contrains the weights makes too much friction with my mousepad, so I have to remove and it glides really smooth.

I think both the mouse and the headset run around $60 each.

^^^^ best mouse ^^^^

Don't even consider another one tbh -- you'll love this one. And you can configure it to be extremely sensitive. I have like100000 sensitivity which is rare, most people have like very little sensitivity on their mice, but I love being able to move quickly. You get enough control in your hands you can make the tiniest of movements and put the crosshair right where you need it.

probably around $60 at BestBuy

Headset - doesn't really matter IMO, I have a $15 one that has been working fine. But my kids break them every few months so that is why I have cheap ones Smile What is wrong with the headset you have?

I would focus on the mouse, the hell with a new headset.

The G502 is a really nice mouse although I wish it was lighter sometimes.

Also Winnie, since you're in no hurry for the headset, I would wait for the 780 price to drop down. It regularly hits $30 at Frys, $40 at Amazon.

Id recommend just saving your money and do what sux says. The 780 headset is by far the best headset ive owned. And my cats seem to ignore the cord for chewing. Before I bought the 780 ( from sins advice ) I bought the razer krakken. Next day the cats chewed thru the cord.

Does anyone else have the problem with their 502 having too much friction against the mousepad with the bottom cover for the weights? If you take it off it glides so much easier and is much nicer to aim that way. I take it off when I start to play something.
