Suggest to me some gaming mice, oh fancy mice users. Once I wipe the hdd with 0's and reinstall windows (messed up and didn't wipe before last install. hur der); I'd like to not play with this trackball anymore.

I've got the Logitech G500. I think its old and you probably can't buy it really anymore but its really good. It's at least my third logitech gaming mouse, and has everything you want with it: independent x-y sens, shift on the fly pre-set x&y sens, really high dpi, customizable weight, good feel and texture. Love it! If I needed a new mouse I would look at whatever Logitech has out now, never done me wrong.

I agree with beck. Virtually any logitech mouse out right now will be good. I am loving the G502. I was almost not gonna get it because it looked very weird to what they usually put out. Good thing I took the risk.
ps fuck you jayd for suggesting that joystick looking piece of shit.

Seems Logitech is an AMD hater & I can't install any of the software to use the additional buttons.
Looking for a fix online before I look for another mouse.

What does them possibly being AMD haters have to do with not being able to install the software? Windows is Windows. Does it look for Catalyst or something? XD

Can't run "Logitech Gaming Software", or when I do get it to run it doesn't detect the mouse. Most of the forum posts I've found having this issue are using similar generation amd space heater.
Apparently this issue is common. After 8-9 'fixes' from support on the logitech forums and nothing last night, I gave up. Round two tonight, will have to make a logitech forum superthread. Then I'm not sure.

I cant find anything on what you are talking about.
So just to confirm, none of doing this works:
Reinstalling driver for mouse ( also in safemode )
Installing earlier versions of the LGS then updating
Plugging the mouse in and out 9 times and on the 10th time ram it into the usb like suprise buttsex

You might want to RMA it, sounds like a shitty mouse. See if they'll exchange for a 500 series or something.
