I came home and my mouse pointer won't move. The lights and buttons work. I read some shot online on how to fix it but it's not working. I removed the battery and noticed it was puffed up. Not good. I'm gonna get a $15 dollar replacement battery for it off amazon. But it's time for a new one
I tried to find the thread when we talked about different mouses but I failed. Good mouse suggestions? My mouse was the razer mamba. The one before that which was my all time favorite was the logitech g3 I think.

If my mouse broke today, I would probably get a G500s or a G700s. But I've mostly ever been a Logitech guy, every Razer hardware I buy always seems to die prematurely for me.

I had a 1st gen Diamondback many years ago. I loved it but I it died prematurely after 18 months and I never bought a razer ever again.
I like the G500 and I'm very much used to having 3 buttons under my thumb now.

out of curiosity, what do you do with those thumb buttons? I've been thinking of using them for something, but not sure what. What bind codes are they (e.g. mouse3, mouse4 or whatever)?

3 is the wheel click -> weaponbank 5
4 (the inner one) is bound to binoculars
5 (the outer one) to /kill
the middle one (bound to any key/key combination because it's not natively recognized) is for voice activation push-to-talk in TS

Yeah my first gaming mouse was the g5. It was the best mouse I ever had until the middle wheel button would not work ( I use it for scope toggle ). Pissed me off so I threw it across the room. Then I bought the razer mamba and like Nort said, it was weird at first but I eventually got used to it.
The g500 seems to be the next step up from the g5. Its discontinued and the one replacing that one is the g502. Looks pretty funky from the previous ones. I went ahead and bought it off amazon. Itll be here tomorrow ill let you guys know how it is. I like the 3 year warranty too.

3 is the wheel click weaponbank 3
4 (the inner one) weaponbank 5
5 (the outer one) weaponbank 6
I also use mouse scroll up as my alt fire, and mouse scroll down as my pistols. I like having all of my most used buttons on my mouse, as my right hand has much better muscle memory than my left.

so you have like "bind mouse3 weaponbank 3" or something? Sorry, I really pretty much have basic config, I don't really mess with that stuff. I think I use the mouse wheel for cycling through weapons, but mostly I press the keyboard number buttons to switch weapons.

Yea, I have all the default keys still bound too, just in case my brother or sister end up wanting to play.
