Okay - so we've decided that a map of the week idea is a cool idea.

Here's how it is going to work:

• The server will run the same 31 maps each week until we change them. These are the maps we've voted on.
  
• One map will change each week - uploaded on Friday Monday morning and will run until the following Friday Monday.
  
• ACTIVE members of the clan will each get a week (see below) where they can pick ANY map they want on the server.
  
• The person suggesting the map MUST provide me with a download URL for it. Best place for maps: http://www.wolffiles.de/index.php?filebase&cat=1&scat=12
  
• The map will be on for Friday games, and it would be nice if it got voted by members at least once - preferably when the person who picked it is actually on :).
  
• Please be a good sport and play the damn map even if you hate it. Worst case, you lose 30 minutes of your life, but in exchange someone else gets to play a map they love.
  
• If you don't want to pick a map (out of town or w/e that week) you can switch with someone else.
  
• If you don't care to pick a map, you can be skipped for the next person in the list.
  
• The list will start over fresh (maybe with new people???) when we go through everyone.
  
• Can be a map that was previously voted off
  

The spirit here is to give active members a chance to see a map they love but doesn't usually get voted to include. Its also a way to maybe discover some really great maps that have otherwise been forgotten or overlooked. If a map is a hit, it will be certainly eligible for inclusion as part of the 31-map grouping in the future.

If you are NOT in the list, but feel like you should be, I'll add you. But I generated this list based on who plays regularly at this time.

Hope Jester doesn't miss out on his week! If he does, I can just swap him with someone else.

if he is late, its for the better. it would make sense to have him pick it on monday. all the dates just need to be pushed back 3 days.

so may 28 is tha day he needs to pick it. we then got 5 days to have it chill on the rotation, then come friday we all hopefully play it on a full server.

okay changed the dates above. Jester has until Monday now.

So the map of the week this week will be Erdenburg, since it was the one I was gonna nuke anyway :/

Just some clarifications because some of us interpreted this idea differently.

- The map you pick can be ANY map - could be a map that has been on the server before - a map that was just voted off - a map that you've always wanted to try - a gigantic ass MLB map - a tiny little 1v1 map - even a map that's already IN the current rotation.

Then when you are on Friday night to play, we'll arrange the voting so that this map gets at least one play. If its already a map people like and it happens to be back for a week (like maybe Troop Train or something) it might get votes anyway, it just depends. But if the person who picked the map makes a concerted effort to show up and play that night, we at least owe it to that person to play their map. And hopefully we can all be adults and not bitch and complain and go afk because you don't like the map or w/e.

Anyway, I think this should be interesting - I'm specifically going to find an obscure map that hardly anyone has ever played for my week. How you choose to pick your map is all up to you.

I chose MP SUB Final

I chose this one because its an old school RTCW map and i am hoping to have fun with this one, like i used to.
I hope everyone can enjoy it and hope to see it soon.

And if anyone has anything to say i thought and sought long and hard for a map that i thought would be a great start to this new idea to our server.
