You know how on Youtube there's the Embed: box? Copy what is in there and post it in a flash object. Then, get rid of everything except the URL that has src= in front of it. (Get rid of the quotes as well) Then, change it to a size that can reasonably be accommodated on the forums. I usually put whatever the original video was, unless it's huge.
Here's an example.
SOURCE VIDEO
For this:
The code is this:
Code: › [flash width=560 height=340]http://www.youtube.com/v/ukZCHX5ffEI&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b[/flash] |
Here is what was in the embed code:
<object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ukZCHX5ffEI&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ukZCHX5ffEI&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x5d1719&color2=0xcd311b" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>
The "value" url in the first param tag and the "src" (source) url in the embed tag are identical, it doesn't matter which one you use. I just used the height and width of the video.
I used a red border instead the default to test if you could actually do it, which amazingly, you can. But sadly, you cannot have it autoplay.
In this post I used the same thing, but I edited the height and left the default flash object width to just have the player because I only wanted the music and I couldn't find a sound file of it online or have it on my computer.
Code: › [flash width=250 height=25]http://www.youtube.com/v/uAIAET2e2y8&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x3a3a3a&color2=0x999999[/flash]

It took me about 15-30 minutes of trying to find a way for me to figure this out so I could post my videos. Hope that it helps!
