I tried to put a new rotation on tonight, but it totally f'd everything up. We're back at rotation of the month from December (Frost & SD). No idea why this one's not taking, doing it the same way I've done them all before. So if you have any looping downloads, errors, repeating maps (like goldrush over and over again) or problems connecting, post here please.

maybe a little OT but what rotation are you going to... stock? Kinda hope not. (if so maybe its a sign! lol)

Loaded up fine for me... just thought I'd go on and test.

The idea is called 'extended rotation'. It features all the stock maps (so everyone can be happy) and one custom (SD2 was the hands down winner of the poll) - but the least popular stocks will be spread out, so you'll only play them every 15 maps.

fuel dump

This is a win-win IMO. People who like those maps can still have a chance at playing them. People who hate them might go an entire gaming session without having to suffer through them.

We'll see how it goes.

If it works out, we might put in another custom after fuel dump, which would spread out the 3 lower ranked stock maps even further. The talk right now is about Special Delivery as the next custom.

I am happy to see railgun back but I am afraid once it loads its gonna be vote-skipped. Disallowing vote-skipping will make me even happier ;)

Probably no more than people do already. Democracy is cast aside if I'm ever playing that map, don't ever try and skip it when I'm on!

Why did we remove frost and beach... Really rail gun kills the server the most. Frost I've seen a SMALL dip... People who dont know the map DO stay (cause after they say they did not know the map) Beach also never really hurt the server SOMETIMES if its like 3v3 to start it will kill the server.

Guess we will see how this works out...

Maybe since we are doing this extended thing... throw in beach and frost (or something else custom) as often as rail gun...

We'll see. There are enough people who like the stocks to justify never removing them from the rotation. Like I said, win-win. Just because you hate it and think that it kills server population doesn't seem fair to us that do like it. And if that was always true, why is it that we have 8v8s on railgun that are fun as hell? I think people just need to suck it up and play the damn map instead of getting all pissy and disconnecting. :sad: BOO HOO, Railgun!!! Go cry to your mama! ;)

Are we allowed to !cancelvote if somebody does a vote skip on one of the stocks? I hesitate to do it because then people get really pissed.
