Yes, colored names is a cool enhancement - especially when you spot your name in blazing color across the map - much easier to spot covies in disguise!


A few other things I've noticed - maybe you have, maybe not.

I play rnade a lot. When you end a map with rnade, you are in warm-up on the next map with rnade, logically. However, when the map starts you spawed with SMG. So you had to specifically pick rnade again to ensure you spawned with it.

That bug appears to have gone away with this upgrade.

I'm not sure about the default binding for screenshots - I've got mine binded to 'p' I think. But you can bind it with /screenshot, I think, or bring down the console and do /screenshot.

You can see where it's binded in the options menu where you set all your movement keys and all the other keyboard shit - it's by the Fireteam shit I think. I've got tweaked configs that rebind everything, so I really don't know.

But they will go in 'etpub\screenshots'.

EDIT:
Not sure if you've all noticed, but there is an 'ETPUB' option when you hit 'esc' now. You can do some cool shit with the HUD, like resize stuff and move it around by dragging and dropping items. But there is a page for Fonts in there where you can set them up however you like. Perhaps there is a 'default' or something that you need to click?

I dont really care although i got owed on the pub. I was 4-38 . That was my worst and i was trying to get kills. I came back a while after and i got 32-11. I dont know why. Maybe its just me.

My view of 0.7.2 is starting to turn around as well. Shot 70 percent with an unscoped k43 yesterday (about 75 shots, I think) - hella sick.

I think people are starting to warm up to it. I have been shooting in the mid-upper 30s all week, which is really good for me.

Then why the hell can't I figure it out?!? My accuracy is still down 10%, my ratios in the hours that I really enjoyed playing have gone from 1,5/1:1 to 1:4-5 and I can only dream of playing when there is more than 12 people on the server...

Really.. I don't think anyone has spent more time than me on the server during the last week, so you'd think I'd be able to adapt to it by now.. but no.

My laptop has come really close to flying out the window almost on a daily basis... It's just aggravating me so much it's not even remotely fun anymore

So are you seeing lag issues more than before? We might be able to turn off some of the ATB stuff which might increase performance on the server. I certainly don't want people to not enjoy themselves on our server. If not lag, is it just a different feel for you?

Put simply.. I just can't hit anything up close. A whole clip will fly with 4-5 bodyshots... Out of the daytime crowd I'd say I have a decent ping (avg 150-170) compared to the rest of the regulars. I just can't explain it. It's actually easier for me to kill Apparition on Pro than it is on Pub (and I haven't played much Pro). All this talk & proof of the hitboxes being bigger just puzzles me even more.

Another extreme example form the past week is that I was running along in an area with absolutely noone around (2v2 on railgun and I go from the allie spawn towards the gun instead of the short route), and my fps just drops to 8... No processes running in the background, no TS, XFire or MSN running.
