The members beta of the stats module is completed. I think its time to roll this out for registered visitors to enjoy, even though there are still a few bugs and enhancements to be done.

Data over the last year plus at IoW has been crunched, calculated and aggregated into a collection of data for each user who has played at IoW. Each week, data will be added to this system to report on weekly and overall leaders.

Examine your record and view the leaderboards now:

To view the data you MUST BE A REGISTERED FORUM USER.
If you see any bugs or things wrong with data (e.g. you have multiple users that need to be combined), send me a PM on the forums Smile

Enjoy - this has been a labor of love for me to get this done.

ALSO - more enhancements are in the works, and this stats module will constantly be improved.

First Round of Enhancements Complete

I have added some new features this week.

1. Multi-Kill and Killing Spree tallies and reporting
2. Session Listing and Sorting

Starting with 1, weekly and overall multi-kill and killing spree leaders are now tracked on the main page.

Spoilers:

Spoilers:

For each player record, the "Kills and Deaths" tab has been enhanced:

Spoilers:

I decided to really find out who owns you, its not how often you get killed by them, but the percentage of their kills verses your kills. So that has been added for both predator and prey.

Also - multi-kill and killing-spree tallies for the player and all players are shown.

Spoilers:

This will show every single killing spree you've ever earned.

2. Session Tracking.

This feature allows you to see every single map you've ever played on the server. You can sort the columns by clicking the headers.

Spoilers:

* There is a known bug that I'm working on - you can't sort by weapon, class or team yet. But that will be coming soon.

Also, I think I might implement some filtering controls in here so you can narrow down the list, especially if you have 1,500 games to sort through.

Enjoy Cool

Looking at some of the underlying click data, I'm wondering if people know that you can click on a player name in the stats page and load up an entire new page of that player's profile with even more data? I can see that some people aren't making it past the leaderboards page ~~~ click on your name and check out what else there is to offer!

If you can't find yourself on the leaderboards page, click Players and locate yourself through there. Every single person who has ever played a second at IoW since January 1st 2012 has a record here.

Update: I turned on cacheing on the main page today. It should load instantly. Not sure what will happen when I upload new data on Monday, as the cache is for 24-hours. I might have to bump that number down, but at least performance should be much better now!

first load still takes ~30 seconds. then after close, reopen it is quick.

hmmm should be server side caching. but maybe not?

#11:   Author: PumpkiN Post You have posted in this forum: Fri May 03, 2013 12:19 pm

there is for sure some issue with this caching. i just loaded up the stats page again, and it took another good 30 seconds or more. seems like the local cach stays for a very short time. does not seem like any sort of server side cach is happening..

weird loaded fast again for me, maybe I need to close my browser.

Regardless -- I'm planning on reworking this to load things in batches instead of at once during a single request. This should help.
