This is becoming a problem or is it not an issue? *In some countries such as Australia, Citizens are required to vote in a national election. If they are over 18 years-old they must be registered to vote and if they fail to go to their polling place on election day, they must be subject to a fine. Should the United States adopt this system?

So we would get more votes based on who has better looks and other non-important opinions. Plain and simple, the system isn't broken, so why change it?
