Subject:  ISO a lightweight gaming mouse
I currently have a G502, which has a great sensor, works great with my mousepad but that shit is really heavy for a mouse.
You guys have any recommendation for something similar spec wise (7 button - dpi switch completely optional) but for like half the weight?

Check ZOWIE mice. They are really light. Whatever mouse you switch to just be prepared to be let down because the 3366 sensor is really still the best imo.

Same reason I stoped using my g502 was the weight, I ordered a Zowie EC2-A since ive seen alot of pro csgo players use them, their mice are really light weight and theres a shit ton of models to choose from depending on if you're fingertip/palm/claw grip. But like Sin mentioned, The 3366 sensor that only Logitech are using is currently performing the best out of whats on the market. Id recommend you looking into the Logitech gpro or the g403, that they just recently came out with. both are extremely light and share the same 3366 sensor that your g502 uses.

Word of caution though, the gpro is really small, like small enough that alot of my friends including myself have had hand cramps using it, but I don't get them anymore since i've gotten used to the shape.

The g403 might be your best choice, it most reminds me of my old G500, wish it still worked, but that mouse had a fantastic shape. You should definitely try and order it off amazon or logitechs website because the first batch of g403 all had scroll wheel rattle which was promptly fixed in later shipments. But generally if you ever encounter an issue with a logitech product, their customer service is pretty nice replacing stuff. unless if you're allagor, and have an old ballmouse.
