Overwatch

New FPS coming out from Blizzard. It takes most of its inspiration from Team Fortress 2 for the most part but looks to be very objective and team based. I thought TF2 was for major fags for the most part, but Overwatch looks pretty fun from what I have seen. The beta starts on Oct. 27th.

yeah take game play from TF2 and then take characters from all the other blizzard games and go to town.

It's definitely not for everyone. I totally hated Team Fortress 2, and this game is more or less just an updated clone. You just have to keep an open mind and try not to compare it to ET.

Have you played Dirty Bomb yet? Overwatch, to me, seems like it is catered much more towards more casual minded players, whereas DB is much more competitive by design. It definitely has more of a "oh shit, I need to defuse this C4 before the time runs out or I fuck over my team" kind of vibe going on just like ET has. Overwatch looks kind of like a silly faffing off game to me, but still looks enjoyable. I also don't really only play just one game anymore though. The days of me only playing ET all day or WoW all night are behind me, and I am comfortable playing multiple different games depending on my mood. I think DB fulfills the try-hard-want-to-win mood and Overwatch is probably more of an opposite to that.
