Also you should try playing more games on your PC. Most games coming out on consoles these days (save for Nintendo) are also on PC, and they have better graphics and (of course) a better community. :D

Yeah, I dunno man. If I have to play with a KB/Mouse it would probably not be the same. Need the motion controls so I can pop wheelies etc..... :P

Yeah I'm not a big fan of them taking away bikes, I loved bikes in Mario Kart Wii. I haven't played Mario Kart 8 yet since I haven't gotten around to buying a Wii U, but I loved Mario Kart 7 on the 3DS.

You use the Wii Wheel? God, I could never. I used to use my GCN controller when I played on my Wii, you can still pop wheelies by pressing Up on the D-Pad.

Also you don't have to use Mouse/kb, we use Xbox 360 controllers. PCs can pretty much use any controller you want with the right adapter. 360 controllers just so happen to be plug-and-play so I use those. If you want to use the Wiimote you'll need to buy the DolphinBar.

If it's the graphics you're worried about, you can upscale the resolution and apply anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering in Dolphin to make it look even better than Mario Kart 8 looks on your Wii U. I run my Wii games on Dolphin at 4x native (2560x2112) and anisotropic filtering set to 16x. It looks majestic.

MK on the Wii pretty much sucked anyway. There are still bikes on Mario Kart Wiiu.

MK 8 has bikes and karts, although they discovered that people preferred bikes in MK Wii, so they totally nerfed them because they were too OP. So I actually prefer the karts now in MK8.

All you need to do is download Dolphin and plug in your DolphinBar through USB. After that, choose 'Real Wiimote + Nunchuk' instead of 'Emulated Wiimote' in Dolphin and you're off to the races.
