This movie was fantastic, it is currently my favorite Marvel movie they have come out with. It has fantastic action and story, with some good humor. It is an absolute must watch.

Also, thoughts on the other Marvel movies since we got a fair amount of them so fat
Iron Man 1 - 9/10
Iron Man 2 - 7.5/10
Iron Man 3 - 8/10

Thor - 8/10
Thor 2:The Dark World - 8.5/10

Captain America: The First Avenger - 6/10

Guardians Of The Galaxy - 9/10

These are my own opinion on the movies, what are yours!

I've never seen the Thor movies. I loved Avengers, I'd give it a higher score than you though, 8/10 for me but hands down, Guardians is 10/10. One of my favorite all-time movies.

Haven't seen Winter Soldier yet, but I heard it was as good as you say. I did like the first Captain America.

Damn forgot about Avengers lol.
id give it about an 8/10 like you was a great movie.

I haven't seen it yet but from I read, it seems to be the or one of the best Marvel movie to date.
I will reserve my judgment until I see it.

Regarding the other movies that you mention I will just say that Iron Man 2 is a turd and doesn't deserve more than 5. Marvel clearly got carried away after IM1 and thought they should cram anything in this one except they completely underused Mickey Rourke, and this is ignoring the character whose motivations and "depth" (note the quotes) didn't make the cut. We ended up with the badly characterized villain as in so many Marvel movies. Jeff Bridges in IM1 was kinda bad too. I will not even mention Ben Kingsley. (However rumour has it that there is still room for a real mandarin in IM4 which would be cool and would redeem the choices made for IM3). They do like their Loki at Marvel to the point were he was the baddie in 3 movies now and probably more to come.

Thor 2 was a festival of unfortunate circumstances which made the movie very random. Remember the portal thing? that was so stupid it could only end up being the Chekov's gun.

Avengers wasn't too bad. I saw the first Captain America and it wasn't bad. I loved Guardians of the Galaxy, I want that on DVD. I might see Winter Soldier :)
