Team killing is and can be done by mistake or by meaning to but I believe that people need to try there best not to I know I do try my best to avoid team killing it does happen but I believe some people have been coming in the I o w sever just to team kill that ruins the hole game for everyone just asking people to respect the game and the people in it trying to play and have a good time

LOL - one word: Punctuation. ;)

You make a good point. No one likes to be TK'd - but it happens and everyone does it. Purposeful TK'ing is grounds for removal from the server, so there needs to be a clear distinction between a careless, accidental TK and someone like Monkey who just does it to piss people off.

As to accidental TKs - best advice i can give you - if your own teammate is between you and the enemy, HOLD YOUR FIRE! Some TK's happen because of a friendly player backraging their own teammate.

Exhibit 1:
__________________________________________________________________________

["X" enemy] :smt070 :smt072 ["Y" your teammate] :smt116 ["Z" You]
__________________________________________________________________________

X and Y are shooting at each other. Z should just old off and let Y do their job. If Y is killed by X, then Z can probably get an easy kill ;)

A good player will use that to their advantage, you always want to make the enemies teammates have to shoot through eachother to be able to hit you. You can use people's shoot happy nature to your advantage in hallways and enclosed rooms very easily.

beware of the fire n effect, it's notorious for getting tk's.

also know where your mobile MGs are and try to stay out of their firing lanes. (If you are the MG try to pick a spot that your teammates can get around) also mortars have the 5 second lag time between shot and contact (when outside and in clear area) if you see your teammates running around in the area you want to shoot hold your fire. (I don't and I get a lot of no friends awards because of it)

game etiquette: if you accidentally TK someone it's always good to apologize.
