About TJ maps I like LNA Trickjump to practice stock maps TJ. I think I can do almost all TJ from stock maps except one or two

truely sorry to burst ur bubble, but lna is literally the second easiest original jump tj map out there (KoB tj being the easiest)

i will give you props that you can do almost all the jumps on lna, but you should not think that because you can get through that map, that you can do all of the tjs from stock maps.

try a map like tutorial jump (any version) and see how far you get in the original map jump section :D

jester, i would be happy to show you some stuff. to be honest, a lot of tj is basic cvar tweaks as well. thankfully tjmod has made all this really easy and has a whole tj menu for you to play with ..

so i found a few that might be good, but i want to give them a run through before i post it here.

my issue is that i cant do the "host game" thing on et. it keeps telling me that i have "invalid .pk3 files referenced"

how can i get past this issue?

Are you running on a local etmain "host game" with punkbuster selected off? Just a guess.

Not sure, remember when you are running things locally, all you get is ETMAIN, so maybe there are some extra files in the directory that is needed for (an updated) server, but not your local machine. All you should have to do is drop the pk3 file into the etmain folder, and you should be able to set up a local server. I'll harass allagor for more info if this doesn't help.
