I tried to copy them from the object link like you said, didn't seem to work. All I got was a big blank area in the post.

In the flash object, try reducing the dimensions proportionally. I don't know, but I believe there is some kind of forum limit on flash objects, because I had that problem before and just had to reduce the dimensions.
