I started to play since I had a friend introduce me to RTCW. UT99 was starting to lose people, so it was time to move on. I guess it is and was an escape from every day problems, which really didn't help much at all. Only a temporary solution - just like hitting the bottle or doing drugs. Nothing good from it. It's much easier to log on and to talk to people and have a good time then trying to go out with a bunch of people who don't get along and having a lousy time.
