OH YES! YES! ANOTHER RADIOHEAD FAN! AND YES, I'M FUCKIN SHOUTIN, STF WITH THAT STUPID POPUP!!!
They just get better and better with each album IMO - Pablo is the first, more rocky and upbeat overall. The Bends is second album - brilliant from start to finish, as you mention. I love "Black Star", which is one of my aliases I use in the game. On that album you start seeing the slower, mellower darker side of Radiohead in songs like "Bullet Proof, Wish I Was". That is the sound I really love - check out 'Kid A' and 'Amnesiac' for more of that - 'OK Computer' (third album) was voted by Brits as the top album of the 1990s, so that should tell you something. That album is tip-top start to finish.
Now you see why when Wolvie offered me his entire Radiohead catalogue, I was glad to pay him $1 for it. For real, I paid him $1 (and about $25 shipping) and he sent me all his EPs that he has collected - a lot of songs I had never heard (btw Wolvie/Plan, Polyethylene is still my favorite song
).
I may go by 'BECK' by inspiration of Mr. Beck Hansen, but my heart really lies with Thom Yorke and the boys in Radiohead.
@PLAN
6000 posts - LMAO, yes I get excited about music. And I'm jealous that you get a
third live show. They're coming on a US tour this summer, but the closest city to me is Dallas.
In honor of my good friend Sin:
Radiohead "Planet Telex" from
the Bends
Radiohead "High and Dry" from
the Bends
Radiohead "Fake Plastic Trees" from
the Bends
