Subject:  replay problems
Hello everyone,
I can't seem to play dm_84 files. I put them in my etpro folder, but it doesn't show
up in the replays. There is three files in that folder,
"profiles" "cgame_mp_x86.dll", "ui_mp_x86.dll" and that is all.
Do I not have etpro installed?

Thats wierd. There should be one that says demo. After u put them in there u open up Wolf, and go to 'mods" and load up Pro.You should see it in replay after that. if u dont have it in Pro try to put in in ET Main I think it is and do it all over again.

Demo's can be a bit tricky. You can only watch them with the mod they were created by. Basically, it's just a server log that you have recorded on your own system. The mod then reads this log and regenerates everything from the log. So it's not like you're recording a movie or something.

The ET structure is as follows:

etpub\
etpub\demos

etpro\
etpro\demos

For whatever demo type, you put it in that folder, then as Stevo said - load the game, click 'Mods' then select the mod. The game will reload in that mod. THen go to replays, and you *should* see them there.

There is a tool called 'Seismovision' that is designed to make this process much simpler - actually letting you double-click the demo file from Windows Explorer and having it automatically load the right mod and play it back for you.

If you don't have a 'demo' folder inside your 'eptro' folder just go to an etpro server and record a demo. That will create a 'demo' folder.

There is absolutely nothing that prevents you from manual creation of that folder. So save some time and don't do all those steps.
